Ina-Garten
Ina Garten has been a popular American cookbook author over the seasons. Ina is also the Emmy-winning host of Food Networks longest running show Barefoot Contessa that began in 2002. Ina began her career working at the White House, writing the nuclear energy budget and policy documents. Her first impression was that her job as stimulating intellectually, but eventually lost interest and purchased a tiny grocery store that was called Barefoot Contessa. It took her nearly 18 years to turn the store into wildly successful, before she closed the business. Then she began writing one of her cookbooks. Numerous magazines and cookbooks followed. The Food Network television program also began and rapidly gained popularity. Ina sells a variety of products, from ingredients for food preparation to kitchenware, storage and even cooking equipment. Ina is not a student at any cookery school or employed in a restaurant, and has a complete self-taught. Ina is known for her relaxed style of creating and entertaining. Her most popular recipes include Lemon chicken skeillet-roasted and Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac & Cheese Beef Bouguignon, balsamic-roasted Brussels Sprouts & Lemon Bars.
