Coleman was born in Blackpool Lancashire. She was the head girl in the Arnold School, Blackpool and had straight A's at her A levels. In response to questions about her role in Emmerdale she stated that it is regrettable that she did not have a traditional university experience. Coleman was at High School, was a member of the theatre company In Yer Space. They presented the show Crystal Clear for the Edinburgh Festival. Her performance was well-received by the audience, and the show was praised by the critics. Coleman was trying to get into drama schools in 2005, landed Jasmine Thomas' role in Emmerdale. Coleman received two awards in 2007. The British Soap Awards nominated her for the title of best newcomer. In the National Television Awards, she was nominated as the best newcomer with the highest popularity. At the 2009 British Soap Awards she was awarded in categories such as the Best Actress Sexiest Female and Best Dramatic Performance categories. Coleman was nominated for Best Actress by the TV Choice Awards. On the 21st March, 2012 Doctor Who producer Steven Moffat announced at a press event that Coleman will be the companion of the Doctor alongside Matt Smith after Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill have left the show. Moffat selected her for the part because she was the most effective when working with Smith and spoke more quickly than Smith. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. Since 1987, she has worked in film and television projects. But, she's more popular for her television projects rather instead of films. Eva's appearances in the TV show Dr. Maria Santos, in All My Children, and Detective Natalia Boa Vista in CSI Miami make an impact. The former even earned her two nominations for the Daytime Emmy Awards and allowed her to experiment with her talents in music. Eva as well as acting, is an entrepreneur, philanthropist and business owner. Eva has three husbands, and one child born from the third.
